South Lebanon – Following previous provocative statements in Beirut, Middle Eastern Presidential Envoy Morgan Ortags said the outcome of the current events was ultimately a “peace” agreement between Beirut and Tel Aviv.
In an exclusive interview with the Lebanese Algede TV channel, Ortagus said the current goal is limited to launching diplomatic negotiations between the “three diplomatic working groups.”
According to Ortagus, the goals of these negotiations can be secured by the Supervisory Committee for resolution, such as the release of Lebanese prisoners, determining the fate of Israeli-occupied sites, and without the need for a “diplomacy” workforce group.
As for Lebanese prisoners lured by Israel’s enemies, there is no Israeli prisoners to negotiate in Lebanon!
Donald Trump’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, had previously noted the urgency in Washington in launching “peace” negotiations with both Lebanon and Syria. He also expressed optimism about Riyadh’s chances of joining the so-called “Abraham Accord.”
Witkov firmly stated that political transformation in the region could extend to Lebanon.
The Lebanese president was elected, and in the midst of the US-led Israeli attacks in Lebanon in September and November, the American “watch-neck” (embassy) in Beirut questioned several candidates regarding Israeli occupation and its position in the arms and the Israeli occupation system and its weapons that are in possession of the Hezbollah resistance movement.
Beirut’s US ambassador Lisa Johnson told Lebanon’s well-known figures that she must prepare to ensure a comprehensive and lasting solution with Tel Aviv.
American witches frequently argued that Hezbollah had collapsed, collapsed, and had little control over her business, and that she was unable to rebuild what the hostile nation had destroyed.
Washington is convinced that there are only a few independent Lebanese who refuse American direction, so the White House will mercilessly advance its imperialist and racist agenda.
Clearly, Washington has restricted the duties of a five-member UN committee to monitor Israel’s sovereignty violations, but the committee has repeatedly argued that Israel’s “procedure” corresponds to “violations” by Hezbollah.
Thus, Lebanon’s shameful silence made it easier for Washington to jump straight to the stage of forming a “diplomatic” working group, as Washington argues.
These “diplomacy” working groups must violate the Lebanese constitution, which criminalizes direct meetings between Lebanese diplomats and meetings from Israeli colonial groups!
Naturally, today’s powerful Lebanese leaders must learn lessons from the disastrous consequences of normalizing Palestinian authority in Egypt, Jordan and even the West Bank. At the very least, they must learn a lesson from what’s going on in neighbouring Syria!
