Speaking at an event titled “Pioneers of Liberation” at Tehran University on Thursday, Ebrahim Azizi pointed to developments in international strategy and stressed that the US goal is to quickly contain Iran before focusing on China.
He said that the US strategy is to quickly contain Iran so that it can advance into China, and that this policy will be followed up within the framework of US geopolitical issues.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the congressman pointed to the process of US pressure on Iran, adding that the enemy used a “snapback mechanism” to start putting pressure on Iran, and then when US President Donald Trump took office, they applied maximum pressure on their agenda.
“For the time being, there will be no talks between Iran and the United States,” Azizi said, adding that Iran insists that potential talks should take into account our national interests, including Iran’s right to enrich itself.
The Islamic Republic of Iran resisted enemy pressure by leveraging its domestic capabilities and potential and continued on the path to independence.
