Ali Akbar Velayati praised the leading role the former Iraqi Prime Minister plays as he throws behind the resistance front.
He emphasized that Iran and Iraq will stand up against the conspiracy of the US and Zionist regimes and not realize their ominous goals, and mentioned recent provocations organized by the US and Zionist regimes to undermine the front of resistance.
The former Iraqi Prime Minister, on his part, warns of the sensitive situation in the region, and the enemy (we and Israel) intends to disarm Lebanon’s Hezbollah Resistance movement, and without a doubt these enemies will disarm Iraq’s popular mobilization units.
Nouri Al-Maliki said that Iraq would not allow such ominous plans to be realized under any circumstances, stressing that Iraq’s resistance front will stand up to an ominous plot coordinated by the US and Israeli regimes.
During the call, both sides emphasized that the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement and the disarmament of Iraq’s Popular Mobilising Forces (PMUs) are part of an ominous US and Ionists’ plans to weaken the resistance front.
