AREF spoke at a meeting with Daler Juma, Minister of Tajik Energy and Water Resources, in Tehran on Wednesday.
“Iran is your second home and Tajikistan is our second home,” Alev told Minister Tajik.
He states that there is no obstacle to expanding relations between the two countries, and this strategy refers primarily to common cultural characteristics, fields of civilization, and common languages.
The AREF said, fortunately, the will of both countries’ authorities would allow Iran and Tajikistan to expand bilateral relations in a variety of areas.
He pointed out that both economies can complement each other.
The first Vice President emphasized the implementation of contracts between the two countries, actively evaluating the regular holdings of the Joint Committee.
Referring to existing capabilities in relations between the two countries in various fields such as economics, trade, industry, technology, engineering services, tourism, science and education, he said it is important to strengthen links between the private sectors of both countries.
During the meeting, Tajikistan’s Minister of Energy and Water Resources also thanked the hospitality that was expanded to Shiraz city, highlighting the importance and position of Iran in Tajikistan’s foreign policy.
Referring to the growing trend in trade exchange between the two countries, he emphasized that a good agreement was reached at the meeting of the Joint Cooperation Committee.
Referring to the Tajikistan Prime Minister’s invitation to be the first Vice President to visit Tajikistan, he expressed his hope that the visit would take a new step towards building friendly relations between the two countries.
