Armed terrorists killed six people on Saturday, including Zahedan, Sistan, Zahedan of Balchestan and a one-year-old child.
Iranian security forces killed three perpetrators during the subsequent clash. According to Press TV, the so-called Jaish Al-Adl Terrorist Group has argued responsibility for the attack.
“Iran’s Islamic Republic has always been a victim of terrorism, and unfortunately those who advocate for human rights remain silent and will not speak out in the face of terrorist operations by various groups,” Aleph said in a message on Saturday.
He added that enemy-backed criminal terrorists have once again carried out provocative acts with the aim of disrupting order, hindering security and creating tensions in the country.
The Vice President called on Iranian security and police authorities to thoroughly investigate the issue to prevent similar incidents.
Meanwhile, in a telephone conversation between the Governor of Sistan and Mansoor Bihar of Balchestan, Iranian Home Minister Escandar Momeni issued an order to investigate various aspects of indiscriminate terrorist attacks.
He also called for immediate measures to treat the injured.
In April, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) ground forces hit Jaish al-Adore terrorist groups during counterterrorist military operations in Sistan and Balchestan, killing the group’s mastermind.
Sistan and Balchestan, which border Pakistan, have witnessed several terrorist attacks in the past few years targeting both civilians and security forces.
Terrorist groups carrying out attacks on Iran’s interests in the southeastern and southwest parts of the country are believed to be linked to foreign spy agencies.
