Pezeshkian made his remarks at a parliamentary session on Monday, where he condemned the Israeli regime’s criminal attacks on martialism, including dozens of civilians, several Iranian military commanders and scientists, news television reported.
“The enemy cannot remove us or our country from the scene through violence, murder or assassination,” Pezeschkian said.
“This is something our people have consistently demonstrated and we are a strong position in the face of all such atrocities,” he said.
The president called for the unity of the people, emphasizing that Iran is not an invader of the war. “More than ever today, we need solidarity and unity. All Iranians must come together and stand firmly against this act of attack. The differences and issues that exist must now be set aside. We must integrate and stand firmly in this genocide criminal attack.”
Pezeshkian said Iran has the right to benefit from nuclear power and research that serves the country’s interests, adding that no one has the right to deny this right to the Islamic Republic.
“We are persistent in achieving this right and are not afraid to be power in ensuring what is right. We have expanded our hands of brotherhood to all Islamic countries.
He said the US relies on bullying and violates international norms by allowing Israel to attack and invade our country.
He attributes the assassination of a senior Iranian commander and scientist to Israeli terrorists, asking, “Did the scientist promise to be killed by someone on the other side of the world along with his family?”
