Nowruz, the oldest New Year celebration observed by millions of people around the world, crosses the border. It stands as a symbol of cultural ties, inter-national fraternity, and deep respect for nature and the times.
For centuries, Knowles have been celebrated in vast geography, from South Asia to the Balkans, from Central Asia to the Caucasus. It is a celebration that inspires love, compassion, peace and happiness, offering new chapters of hope, prosperity, happiness and resilience.
This old-fashioned celebration reminds us of ancient wisdom emanating from the centre of history. It serves as a precursor to tranquility, transformation and peaceful coexistence.
Nowuz exemplifies the notion that states can unite around shared human values, regardless of geographical boundaries or political differences, and contribute to the creation of a world rooted in sustainable peace and friendship.
