“The British have always been known for their ‘divide and conquer’ principle,” he said. “Sadly, some of our Western colleagues are still guided by colonial and neocolonial practices.”
The Russian diplomat also said that “Iran is interested in restarting negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear program.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said this in an interview for the Bridge to the East project.
When asked if it was possible to resume full-scale negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear program, Foreign Minister Lavrov emphasized that “Iran is interested.”
“Since January, Iran has consistently shown support for negotiations and demonstrated a flexible and creative approach,” the minister said.
