This is the full text of Naja Muhammed Ali’s article on why people mark International QUDS Day.
The issue of crimes of Zionist occupation in Al-Kudos Al-Sharif, Palestine, and the occupied Palestinian territory occupied the hearts of all liberty defenders around the world, especially Muslims and liberty enthusiasts in the Islamic world. Territories and neighboring countries.
According to Islamic principles, Muslims should not ignore this issue or remain silent in the face of forced acts against Muslims and the human race as a whole.
For this reason, the late Imam Khomeini designated the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as QUDS Day, the day when people of the Islamic Republic and other Islamic countries, as well as the free people of the world, hold meetings and demonstrations to protect the rights of the Palestinians.
Quds Day was first commemorated in Iran in 1979. Since then, the world has heard support for Jerusalem, and programs marking this opportunity are held annually in various parts of the world.
Every year, International QUDS Day is observed spontaneously and by the masses around the world. In particular, in Iran, commemorating the day has led to great pressure from the states supporting Zionist groups. Iran is facing unparalleled international, European and American sanctions in history, just to force them to abandon their stances against Jerusalem and Palestine.
Not only has the world been silent, we have seen many countries normalize relations with Zionist entities and establish diplomatic relations at the expense of the Palestinian people. However, the day of the Quds conveyed a strong message to this oppressed nation from Iran and influential countries around the region and the world. Their people will never forget Palestine, continue to support it, and will not shake until the ultimate goal is achieved.
The commemoration of International QUDS Day is a global declaration of the free state’s disgust towards the Zionist regime and its oppression. To strengthen annual support for the oppressed Palestinian people, the whole world hears this cry and realizes that oppression has happened in Palestine, this horn of the world, and that it must fight.
Despite the continued suppression of pro-Palestinian voices in the West and the ban on demonstrations in several countries following the Al-Aqsa flood operation, this does not mean denial of the Zionist regime and its allies. They should also not hesitate to support the oppressed Palestinian people. Instead, alternatives should be investigated to convey the QUDS day message beyond the last Friday of Ramadan.
One such platform is to media, cyberspace, and intrude into the security equipment of Zionist entities. In this way, if everyone promotes a campaign or hashtag, expresses their anger, and amplifies their voices in digital space, QUDS Day will achieve that goal.
The Zionist entities themselves report that this year’s international QUDS Day will witness a coordinated cyberattack by activists around the world. The Hebrew newspapers claim that Iran is the origin of the attack.
These reports cite cybersecurity agencies specializing in cyberwarfare, and also suggest that the targets of these attacks are not merely websites, but rather attempt to destroy the information systems of Israeli security agencies.
Yes, cyberspace and social media will be powerful tools for delivering QUDS Day messages to the world. There is a huge audience in the digital space, and without censorship, the cries for justice can reach global ears. In reality, commemorating International Quds Day is an obligation that must be met.
The US and Zionist occupations have always sought an opportunity to expand their attacks, and by proposing peace and reconciliation, they have not given up through threats or coercion. But we must understand that this American and Zionist axis can thwart us and the Zionist scheme, along with their presence in the people’s resistance and struggle, as well as expressing rage.
People’s resistance needs to be strengthened and expanded. The existence of freedom-loving individuals around the world can further complicate their plans by continuing opposition to the Zionist regime and the United States, preventing global rog arrog from achieving victory.
Quds Day is more than just an iconic opportunity. It is a continuous call to awaken the conscience of the world, and a clear message that Palestine is not alone. Resistance is not just a choice, it is the fate of the country that refuses to submit. The Palestinians are proving that they cannot break despite the murders, sieges and plots. They do not wait for international resolutions or false sympathy, but rather rely on the blood of their martyrs and the perseverance of their generation until the promise of liberation is fulfilled.
The equation of struggle remains unchanged in the face of normalization and liquidation projects. The occupation is destined to disappear, resistance endures, and Palestine returns.
