Ten people were killed in a predawn airstrike targeting a home in Gaza city’s Altaffa district on Wednesday, according to Press TV.
“Our team was injured in 10 martyrs and several injured Arshifa Hospital after the Hassone family home was targeted,” said Mahmoud Bassar, a spokesman for the Civil Defense Agency.
Israel attacked early Wednesday, saying it “focused primarily on Gaza city,” killing at least 21 people and injured dozens of others.
Two people were killed in an Israeli air raid targeting a residential apartment near Saraya Junction in the heart of Gaza city, but another death was recorded as a result of artillery fire from an Israeli reconnaissance plane near Abu Hashira Street, west of the city.
Three members of the family lost their lives due to artillery fire in a tent that evacuated Palestinians at Yarmuk Stadium, in the heart of the city.
According to Maan, a girl was killed in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, and two people were injured in gunfire targeting the house.
Israeli airstrikes at the Jabaria refugee camp in northern Gaza also claimed the lives of four Palestinians on Wednesday morning.
Palestinian media reported that Israeli attack helicopters were firing in Rafa city in the southern Gaza Strip, and that the town of Abasan al-Kabila was also under Israeli artillery attacks in nearby Khan Yunis.
The artillery attacks were also reported at the Nusairat refugee camps and Breage camps in central Gaza.
