The Palestinian Red Crescent Association (PRCS) said on Friday that Highsam Bassam Abuissa, a nurse at the Deiabara Clinic, died while on duty on Thursday.
“This brings the total number of PRCS staff and volunteers killed during the conflict to 50. This is a very shocking person,” the organization said.
The action against Hunger confirmed that two of its employees, Mohammed Hussein and Obada Abu Issa, were also killed in the same airstrike in a densely populated area.
According to the group, neither aid workers were on duty when the strike occurred.
Mohamed, 20, had planned to work as an office guard and renew his contract.
“He gave the people around him a sincere support without asking anything in return,” the organization said.
Obada, 30, is a field assistant on the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene team, and is survived by his wife and two children.
Actions against hunger called for protection of civilians and humanitarian workers, and called for an immediate and lasting ceasefire.
The organization said it would continue its mission in Gaza despite ongoing attacks.
More than 56,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 132,000 injured since Israel launched its attack in Gaza on October 7, 2023, according to Gaza health authorities.
