The Yemeni military issued a statement announcing major military operations, including a high-sonic ballistic missile strike at Ben Gurion Airport, in the occupied area of Rod near Tel Aviv.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, a spokesman for the Yemeni military, read the statement, declaring that the “Palestine-2” missile had succeeded on the intended target. He said the strike has led millions of Israeli settlers to shelters, leading to the halt of flights at the airport.
The statement described the operation as a victory in favor of the oppressed Palestinians and a response to the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Sally called on Islamic and Arab countries to stand with Gaza, highlighting the continued siege and bloody crimes against their people.
He confirmed that Yemeni military operations would continue until the Gaza attacks have ended and the blockades are lifted.
Israeli media reported that following the launch of missiles from Yemen, residents of the Gush Dan area and the occupied Al-Quds were urged to take shelter. The same source confirmed the temporary closure of Ben Gurion Airport.
Israeli Channel 12 confirmed that it was the second missile launched from Yemen towards the occupied territory in the last 48 hours.
