In a statement Tuesday morning, Yemeni forces said American invaders will be fully responsible for militarizing the Red Sea and expanding the scope of the conflict through ongoing attacks on Yemen.
“Over the past few hours, Yemeni forces have targeted USS Harry Truman, a US aircraft carrier in the North Red Sea with two cruise missiles and two drones, and US destroyers with four cruise missiles and four drones,” Presttv reported.
“Aircraft carrier targeting is third in the last 48 hours, and the enemy has been struck by a state of confusion.
Yemeni forces warned that they would continue to target all hostile troops in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea until the invasion is over.
The military has asserted that it will not cease to target all hostile targets in the Red Sea and the Arab Sea until attacks on the Arab states cease.
A Yemen statement said the military is ready to stand up to the escalation of the US and Israel in the coming hours and days.
The statement further emphasized that Yemeni troops will maintain a ban on Israeli-bound ships passing through the declared operational zone until the Gaza Strip’s blockade is lifted.
This comes when the US claimed to carry out a massive airstrike across Yemen on Sunday night, hours after the Yemeni resistance campaign warned Yemeni forces would target American aircraft carriers and warships in the region.
On Saturday night, the US was involved in massive military strikes in Yemen’s capital Sanaa and several other states around the country, killing and wounding dozens of people, including women and children.
American and British fighters have launched 47 airstrikes at several sites in Yemen’s capital, the northern regions of Sanaa and Sasada, central Albaida and southwest Damar.
At least 31 people, mostly women and children, were killed in air and naval attacks ordered by US President Donald Trump.
Yemenis declared their open support for the Palestinian struggle against Israeli occupation since the administration launched a devastating war with Gaza on October 7th, after the territorial Palestinian resistance campaign carried out a retaliatory attack that had deprived history.
