TEHRAN – Yemeni military announced Monday that the administration had launched a ballistic missile strike at Scarlet Ray, an Israeli oil tanker in the North Red Sea, in response to a fatal Thursday attack at a cabinet meeting in Sanaa.
Yemeni Army spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced the news in a recorded statement.
He confirmed that the attack had directly hit the vessel.
Sally reiterated that Yemen is still committed to supporting the Palestinian people by targeting ships heading towards Israeli maritime routes and occupied ports.
He confirmed that the operation would continue until the genocide against Gaza is over and the lockdown is lifted.
The British Maritime Trade Industry (UKMTO) reported that an Israeli ship encountered an “unidentified object” that fell nearby, followed by a major explosion about 40 miles southwest of Yambu, Saudi Arabia.
Below is a statement issued entirely by the Yemeni military.
“In support of the oppressed Palestinians and their brave fighter jets and in response to the genocide and starvation crimes committed by Zionist enemies against their brothers in the Gaza Strip, Yemeni forces confirm the continued ban on enemy maritime voyages in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea.
The Yemeni navy, along with ballistic missiles, conducted a military operation targeting the scar-colored rays of Israeli oil tankers in the North Red Sea, and by God’s grace, the operation directly attacked the ship.
Yemeni forces have asserted that they will continue to support the Palestinian people by preventing Israeli voyages and sailing towards occupied Palestinian ports in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea. They also confirm that further military operations will be carried out against the occupied Palestinian Israeli targets. These operations will not halt except for the end of the attack and the lifting of the siege of the Palestinians in Gaza. ”
Sanaa’s Yemeni leadership has pledged a strong response to Israeli occupation and warns that he will witness success in thwarting the “plan for a Zionist occupation” in the coming days and weeks.
On Monday, the Sea of People, the capital of Yemen, was found to be participating in the funeral procession of Prime Minister Sanaa, Ahmed al-Rahawi, and members of his cabinet, who was assassinated by the Israeli regime.
The Hebrew Kan Public Broadcaster reported that Israel’s Shin Bet implemented “special and unusual” security measures to protect Israeli officials.
Hebrew reports show that after the assassination of Yemen, protections have been significantly strengthened around Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Minister of Israel Katz and other top officials.
The ongoing escalation to Yemen reflects several dynamics. The main one of them is that the Israeli regime is looking for a symbolic victory to offset the resistance of Gaza and the psychological and strategic losses against Yemen’s growing deterrent in the region.
Yemen’s stance once again emphasized that support for Palestine is neither seasonal nor symbolic. It is a fixed, unwavering commitment.
All missiles falling in Gaza spark a direct response from Yemen, highlighting a clear message. While Gaza children and women live without safety, there is no security in the Israeli occupation.
Israel is about to sell a strike against Yemen’s infrastructure as its military success has largely failed. The administration’s fatal attack on the Cabinet of Sanaa’s civil servants is in line with Israel’s policies targeting civilians and civil infrastructure. Even the Hebrew media reveals this story and reveals the increasing vulnerability of the regime.
Ben Gurion Airport has been facing partial closures for several months, with major airlines continuing the boycott imposed by Sanaa.
The threat in Yemen is more than just a political stance. They are supported by proven, evolving capabilities. International companies are no longer underestimating Yemen’s warnings. Israeli security think tanks have warned about a growing list of Yemen’s targets. “We cannot destroy Yemen,” they warn. This is a lesson from recent years and is still true today.
All Israeli attacks are filled with stronger responses. All deterrents try backfire. The Occupation Regime knows that Yemen’s operations will not cease unless one condition is met: the end of the siege and the genocide against Gaza.
“We are reorganizing and testing new missile capabilities to launch them towards Israel in the next few days.” Israeli media said Monday.
