Yemen’s Ansarullah government’s foreign ministry said in a statement announcing the martyrdom of senior Hezbollah commander Haitham al-Tababatabai, who was killed in an Israeli attack, that he played a key role in defending Lebanon and supporting the broader axis of resistance.
The statement stressed that Israel’s policy of assassinations and repeated attacks reflects the Israeli regime’s weakness on the battlefield and its inability to achieve its objectives through military means.
Yemen also criticized Tel Aviv’s collusion with some Arab and Islamic governments and expressed regret at the international community’s silence regarding Israel’s actions in Lebanon and Palestine.
The ministry reaffirmed its position and declared solidarity between the Yemeni and Lebanese peoples and support for the Lebanese resistance forces.
