Tehran – Yemen’s Ministry of Defense in Sanaa claims Israelis claim that recent airstrikes have been led by the Ansalala movement and targeted assassinated leaders
The ministry claimed that the attacks had attacked civilian areas instead. An official source told Yemeni news agency Sabah, “a new round of Zionist invasion is a failure like the one before it was.” Sources added that Iemeni’s operation to support Gaza will continue until the genocide of Israel’s occupation regime is over and the siege of Gaza is lifted.
Officials stressed that the strike targeted private infrastructure and Yemeni people because of solidarity with Gaza, which is facing genocide and starvation from the obvious perspective of the international community.
Officials also stressed that neither the threat nor the airstrikes pose a threat to Yemeni people or their leadership. Instead, these actions only strengthen their resolve and decisions.
Senior military officials also told local news outlets that enemy psychological and media wars were ineffective and would not affect the course of Yemeni operations.
He also said there is a great deal of confusion as Yemeni people, along with the locals, do not trust Israel’s claims and rely on statements from the Yemeni military, as they struggle to present a consistent story within the Israeli facility.
Mohammed al-Farra, a member of the Politburo of Ansalala, described the latest Israeli attack on Sanaa as a failure, saying they targeted the populated private regions in reckless and criminal ways.
He called the attack a clear violation of international norms and a direct attack on civilians. Al-Farah said these strikes demonstrated enemy aggression and revengeful attitude towards the entire Yemeni people.
Politicians also argued that the Israeli regime would not act so brave without the support of the US and the West.
He further reaffirmed Yemen’s firm stance in supporting the Palestinian people, saying, “It will not stop until the invasion is over and Gaza’s lockdown is lifted.”
Al-Farra also warned that Sanaa’s government is ready to expand its actions to increase pressure on the Israeli genocide regime.
Yemeni reporters said Thursday that the attack on Sanaa appears to have been fired from the sea and that the fighter planes have never heard of it above their heads. Just a few days ago, occupying forces targeted a fuel storage facility in southwestern Sanaa, killing six people and injuring 86 people.
These continuing attacks on Yemen come when Yemeni forces continue their operations deep within Israel, all in favour of Gaza and maintain a naval blockade.
Several Palestinian resistance facts have denounced the recent Israeli airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, calling the attacks a reflection of the regime’s continued, aggressive policies on the people of the region. They expressed full solidarity with Yemen, its people, and its resistance.
Hamas described the attack as “a coronavirus war crime and a blatant attack on the sovereignty of the Arab state.” Calling it a clear violation of international law and norms, Hamas said it highlighted the serious threat posed by the Israeli occupation regime across the Arab and Islamic world, along with the attacks on Yemen, as well as Israeli attacks on Syria and Lebanon and the ongoing massacre in Gaza.
Hamas also expressed full support for the “brother Yemenis, the military, and especially the Ansalala group that reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Gaza despite the attacks.”
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Resistance Committee described the attack on Yemen as an indication that the Israeli regime is “a rogue and offensive entity that seeks to target the entire region and control its people.” Furthermore, they called the attack “a clear sign of the failure of the Zionist regime in the face of Yemen’s resilience and military power.”
The committee emphasized that this latest escalation and the Syrian situation and the daily massacres in Gaza reflect the reality that “the Zionist regime is the central enemy of the region.” They praised the Yemeni people, leadership and military for their continued support and resistance in Palestine.
The Palestinian Mujahideen movement also denounced the attack on Yemen, calling it a “extension of ongoing attacks on Palestinians and the region as a whole.”
