TEHRAN – Yemeni troops are targeting Ben Gurion airport and have vowed to respond to Israeli invasions with more operations.
Yemeni military announced the execution of a military operation targeting Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, warning that air and maritime seals will continue until Gaza siege is lifted.
The attack was carried out using polar ballistic missiles.
Brigadier General Yahiya Sali, a spokesman for the Yemeni Army, confirmed that the operation had achieved its target.
He forced “millions of occupying people fled to shelters and stopped air traffic at the airport.”
Sally emphasized that the operation would reaffirm the Yemeni military’s continued religious, moral and humanitarian duties to the Palestinians.
He said Yemen will implement blockades of Israeli air navigation between Ben Gurion Airport, respond to Israeli attacks on Yemen and respond to attacks on Yemen in solidarity with oppressed Palestinians.
Israeli media reported detection of ballistic missiles fired from Yemen, leading to air traffic halts at Ben Gurion Airport. This coincided with the air raid sirens reverberating across a wide area.
Israeli police also reported that they had received alerts about fragments from missiles that fell into a nearby settlement with southern Jerusalem (occupied AL-QUDS).
Sanaa’s government vowed that Israeli invasions would not thwart Yemen’s ongoing military operations in support of Gaza.
Seydur Malik Al Hauc, leader of the Ansalala movement, declared that “the Israeli invasion at Sanaa International Airport will not halt Yemen’s operations to support the Palestinians.”
He added that Yemeni forces are preparing to escalate their operations at the next stage to increase Israel’s effectiveness and impact on the enemy.
On Wednesday, Israeli fighters launched several airstrikes at SANAA International Airport just 10 days after resuming operations after previous Israeli attacks.
This latest attack by Yemeni forces is part of a series of military operations aimed at imposing air blockades on Israeli occupation regime. Repeated missile attacks have specifically targeted Ben Gurion Airport.
Over the past few weeks, these businesses have caused repeated disruptions in air traffic, prompting several international airlines to suspend flights to and from Tel Aviv.
Yemen has argued that these attacks are being carried out in favor of the Palestinians of Gaza, and has pledged to launch a strike until the US-backed Israeli genocide and blockade of coastal belts are lifted on the edge of Gaza.
