Yemeni troops on Sunday performed “qualitative” operations on “Palestine 2” multi-faceted ballistic missiles against sensitive targets in occupied Jerusalem (Al-QUDS), describing the strike as a coordination of solidarity and resistance with Gaza.
“We will continue to carry out assistive operations until the attack on Gaza is stopped and the siege is lifted,” the statement added.
Israel claimed that sirens rang out in the central region and intercepted missiles from Yemen.
Since October 2023, Yemen has embed the campaign into popular mobilization, combining long-distance launches and maritime disruptions with weekly mass gatherings supporting Gaza.
Yemeni media previously promoted the two-stage solid fuel design of Palestine 2. The strike will land once Gaza’s death toll exceeds 67,000 amid ongoing artillery fire.
