TEHRAN – Yemen has announced operations with a polar ballistic missile against Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport.
Yemeni military reaffirmed its commitment to solidarity with Gaza at Israeli Airport and oppose Israeli genocide and imposing air blockades at Israeli Airport.
According to Yemeni Army spokesman Brigadier General Yahiya Sallie, the operation was a precision strike at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv.
He said the missile strike completely stopped air traffic at the airport.
Sally emphasized that the surgery achieved its goal, caused air traffic disruptions and encouraged millions of settlers to flee to shelters.
He described the attack as a show of support for the Palestinians and their resistance fighters, and a refusal to “genocide being committed by the Zionist enemies of Gaza.”
Sally added that the strike is part of a wider air blockade in place by Yemeni forces against the Israeli regime.
He noted that many international airlines are complying with the recently imposed ban that had a major impact on airport operations.
The Yemeni military emphasized that the daily massacres, which are carried out daily massacres against the people of Gaza, are pushing Yemen, its leadership, people and military towards the escalation of military operations.
They confirmed that the escalation aims to end Israeli genocide and lift lockdowns in the Gaza Strip.
Sirens rang out in West Jerusalem (AL-QUDS) and surrounding areas after Israeli media had previously reported the launch of missiles from Yemen.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Kang Channel has reported a takeoff and landing halt at Ben Gurion Airport.
Flight tracking data during the attack showed that four incoming flights were forced to traverse above the coastline and clearance was waiting for the landing work to resume.
The attack is part of a series of air strikes carried out by the Yemeni forces as part of the Israeli regime’s air blockade.
These repeated missile attacks at Ben Gurion Airport have caused frequent paralysis of air traffic over the past few weeks.
As a result, several international airlines have announced the suspension of flights to Israeli Airport.
Sanaaa repeatedly vows to continue military operations against Israeli targets in support of Palestinian resistance in Gaza, claiming that such attacks will continue until the genocide is over and the blockade is lifted.
