Tehran – Yemeni military continues to attack the Israeli regime with polar missiles in response to the war on the massacre with Gaza.
In a recent operation, Yemeni forces launched a new strike at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, urging millions of Israelis to seek shelter and lead to the suspension of airport operations.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that Yemeni forces have carried out a “qualitative military operation” targeting Ben Gurion in the Higher Bib. The attack successfully halted air traffic at the airport.
Sally confirmed that the operation achieved its intended goal, caused a halt to air travel, and hidden millions of settlers.
He said, “To remain silent about the daily massacres in Gaza will make us more vulnerable to our enemies than ever, unless we act to embark on our country to fulfill our religious, moral and humanitarian duties to the oppressed Palestinians.”
General Sally further said the Yemeni army would continue and strengthen its activities until the Israeli genocide in Gaza is over and the blockade is lifted.
Following the launch of missiles from Yemen, air raid sirens have been activated throughout Tel Aviv and the wider regions of Israel.
Israeli occupation forces confirmed that “air defense handles ballistic missiles fired from Yemen.”
Israeli media also reported a suspension of flights to and from Ben Gurion Airport as a result of the attack, highlighting the disruption caused by Israeli air traffic.
Yemeni forces have issued warnings of air blockades under the Israeli regime, marked by repeated strikes at Ben Gurion Airport.
“In light of Gaza’s development and the escalating crimes from the enemy against our steady and oppressed people, the Yemeni military is working to expand its support operations and double its ability to strengthen military action,” Sally said.
“This includes banning air traffic at LOD Airport (Ben Gurion), maritime blockades at Haifa port, and maintaining restrictions on Israeli voyages in the Red and Arabian seas.”
A nearby strike near the airport reportedly in early May hit a parking lot, leading to air traffic halts and cancellations of several international flights.
Following these developments, international airlines began cancelling flights to and from Ben Gurion Airport, causing a significant drop in passenger traffic. Israel Channel 12 reported that this was due to the Yemeni military’s declaration of a comprehensive flight zone over Israeli airspace.
On May 6, the US reached a ceasefire agreement with the Yemeni government. A nearly day strike failed to stop Yemen’s retaliation.
Trump said the ceasefire was “in effect soon” after the US admitted that warships in the Red Sea had been repeatedly attacked.
Analysts believe the US military campaign in Yemen is widely seen as a measure to protect the Israeli regime, and it was too expensive to maintain.
Within six weeks, Yemeni forces shot down seven American MQ-9 Reaper drones over the airspace, causing a total loss of around $200 million.
Additionally, US Navy aircraft airline USS Harry S. Truman went home after losing three fighter jets in the Red Sea.
