In a statement released Thursday, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Army, said they had fired Zulfakal’s ballistic missiles towards Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv.
“This operation achieved its goal thanks to God, with millions of occupying scurried to the shelter and shutting the airport down for nearly an hour,” Sally added.
A spokesman for the Yemeni army also said that they fired two Jaffa drones with targets of two important Israeli enemy in the occupied areas of Jaffa and Haifa.
The ongoing Israeli crimes against Palestinians in Gaza require all members of the Islamic Umma to fulfill their religious, moral and humanitarian duties and take immediate action, the statement read.
Yemen will continue its anti-Israel business and will not hesitate to escalate and retaliate strikes until Israel ends the onslaught of Gaza and lifts the siege of Palestinian territory.
The Yemeni army launched a campaign in November 2023 against Israel-linked ships and targets.
Yemen halted its attack in January when Israel accepted the Gaza ceasefire.
But two months later, Israel unilaterally defeated the Gaza ceasefire, resuming its aggression and urged Yemeni forces to resume operations in solidarity with the Palestinians.
