Brigadier General Yahya Saree, a spokesman for the Yemeni Army and Army, announced that the Yemeni Air Force has targeted its position within the occupying territory, equipped with four drones.
He said three drones attacked Ramon Airport in the Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat) area, and a fourth drone hit a military facility in the occupied Palestinian Negev region. According to Saree, all drones succeeded in their intended target.
The spokesman emphasized that criminal attacks on Yemeni people would never undermine their resolve or break their immobilized will.
Sally reaffirmed that Yemen fulfills its religious, moral and humanitarian duties and would bravely defend the Palestinian people. He declared that any attempt to undermine Yemen’s pro-resistance stance would fail as they had before.
He further emphasized that enemy crimes against the people of Yemen will never reduce their resolve.
The attack highlights Yemen’s growing role in regional conflict with Israel, portraying it as a Palestinian defender and part of a wider front of resistance. For months, Yemen has targeted transport lanes in solidarity with Israel-related ports, airports and Gaza, framing its actions as both religious obligations and strategic deterrents.
Yemen’s leadership argues that such strikes are resilient despite years of war and lockdowns, and positions Yemen as a dedicated actor facing Israeli attacks in the region and Western-backed crimes.
