TEHRAN – Yemeni military has issued a solid warning against a US-Israel joint attack targeting Iran, pledging a strong response that can expand to American assets in the Red Sea.
In a statement, Yemeni military officials condemned the continued Zionist attacks on Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and other Arab and Islamic countries, and declared a complete rejection of such hostilities, including the recent attack on Iran.
“The US-Israel attack on Iran is not just an attack on one country, but a step towards imposing full control over the region,” the statement read. “To remain silent in the face of this attack is equivalent to abandoning our freedom and dignity.”
“If the US attacks Iran and joins Israel, we will target ships in the Red Sea,” the military warned, highlighting that it is closely monitoring all hostile moves and is ready to take the necessary actions to protect Yemen’s sovereignty.
