In a speech aired on Thursday, Abdul Malik al-Haucci expressed regret over the status of Arab countries, which are limited to issuing statements in response to the Israeli regime attacks on Qatar, news television reported.
Yemeni leaders criticized Arab countries for their weak response to Israeli attacks on Qatar, saying their inaction, including their failure to break diplomatic ties, has created dignity throughout the region.
On Tuesday, Israeli fighters launched airstrikes at the Hamas Resistance headquarters in Doha, Qatar’s capital, which Israeli media described as an “assassination operation.”
Airstrikes have come as Hamas leaders reportedly have been convened to discuss the latest US proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Houthi pointed out that targeting Qatar is an invasion of a country with sovereignty, regional status and active participation in various countries, including negotiations related to Gaza.
“This action is also considered an attack on all countries in the Persian Gulf,” he added.
According to Houthi, Israeli attacks on Qatar constituted two crimes. The first is the target of the Palestinian negotiation team and, secondly, the attack on Katari’s sovereignty.
He said the purpose of these actions was to “expand the equation of attack” on regional countries.
He emphasized that Israel carried out the crime with absolute certainty of our support, but it is essentially dependent.
Israel is about to complete the process of “establishing full control over everything in Palestine and then expanding across the border,” he said.
He added that Tel Aviv is engaged in destructive activities in neighbouring countries, including Lebanon and Syria, and is pursuing conspiracies against Jordan, Egypt and Iraq.
Meanwhile, the US views the destruction of regional states and the promotion of the Greater Israel project as a “sacred and extremely important mission,” Houthi said.
“The serious dangers from certain parties with known history and clear purpose put Islamic umma at risk,” he said.
He warned that ignoring this danger was a sign of “misuse and weak attitude,” urging Islamic Umma to carefully and thoughtfully examine “the hidden motives behind the American position on local issues, particularly Palestine.”
Houthi identified the lack of practical measures by the Arab and Islamic governments as a source of Israel’s bullying behavior, saying the vacuum allowed the occupyers to become increasingly arrogant.
“Our country raised the jihad flag to support the Palestinian people, but many political parties have become weak and retreated in the face of this oppression,” he emphasized.
Since Israel launched the war on Gaza in October 2023, Yemeni forces have conducted numerous attacks in solidarity with Palestinians targeting airports, ports and other sites throughout the occupying territories. Yemen repeatedly vowed that these strikes would continue as long as Israeli war and blockades on the besieged strip continued.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Houthi declared that labeling the United States as a “supporter of peace” was a major crime and guilty, claiming that “the title would never correspond to Washington’s role in supporting reality on earth and Israel’s attacks.”
