Large numbers of people gathered in Al Sabain Square in Sanaa and other Yemeni squares on Monday to show strong support for the government for the attacks in Western provinces in support of the Israeli regime, according to local Yemeni media outlet Al Masila.
The march takes place when the US and the UK launched brutal attacks on Yemen, and Yemeni forces targeted US ships in the Red Sea.
Recent air attacks by the US-Israel coalition have targeted residential areas in the cities of Sana and Sada.
Abdul Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansarlah movement, called on Yemen to maintain unity last night and hold rallies amidst the attack.
At the end of the rally, the protesters issued a communica- tion, declaring “repeated our unshakable attitude in supporting our brothers in Gaza and facing all the dangers that threaten them.”
“We are proud of our leader’s decision to lift the siege of Gaza and announce a four-day deadline to impose a ban on Zionist enemy ships,” they declared.
