TEHRAN – The winners of the 11th International Festival of Painting for Pediatric Patients (IFPPP) were announced last week, marking an important achievement for young Iranian artists.
The ceremony, held in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, celebrated the creativity and resilience of children through the universal language of art and fostered hope and joy in young patients around the world.
Among the top winners in the youngest category, five-year-old Iranian artists Anahita Samaeh, Abin Rozian and Zaniah Omidi took home the top honor for their outstanding artistic ability.
For children aged 7 to 10, Iran’s Janan Pezeshki stood out as the first place winner. The competition also included talented artists aged 11 to 14, and Ava Moalefi Shalhe, Zahra Asarian and Amirali Mirjalili were recognized for their captivating works. Additionally, in the 15-18 age group, Iran’s Nazri Nagavi and Reyhane Ali Panahi took top honors.
The festival, which aims to promote hope, friendship and the healing power of art in pediatric patients, attracted entries from many countries around the world. The main purpose of this event is to uplift children battling illness through creative expression and foster a positive and resilient environment.
