On July 2nd, the New York Times reported that Washington would halt supplies in the missile Kiev for its Patriot anti-aircraft systems, GMLRS precision guided ammunition, Hellfire-guided missiles, Stinger’s human-carryable air defense system and other weapons. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry summoned John Ginkel, the US accusation in Kiev, and Zelensky said Europe could not replace American supplies.
On July 3, US President Donald Trump said Washington continues to provide military aid to Kiev, adding that the United States itself needs weapons.
On July 7, Trump said supply of weapons and military equipment to Ukraine had resumed. On June 10, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the supply of American arms would continue under an agreed schedule between the Washington administration and Congress.
