At a conference dedicated to leveraging Israeli media energy, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hinted at a cohort of Israeli influencers. “We have to fight back. How do we fight back? Our influencers. If you have the opportunity in that community, they are very important, I think they should talk to them,” says the responsible nation.
It is also very advantageous to be paid by Israel to post on social media. According to recent documents that have not been previously reported, these influencers may be paid about $7,000 per post on social media such as Tiktok and Instagram on behalf of Israel.
Bridges Partner, a company working for the Israeli government’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has sent a series of bills to Havasu Media Group Germany, an international media group working in Israel, for the “influencer campaign.” The invoice details the $900,000 total, which starts in June and is expected to close in November, with content created by a cohort of 14-18 influencers.
The document, submitted under the Foreign Agent Registration Act, points out that the funds are for both “influencers and production payments,” but does not provide a breakdown between the two. Managed production costs through September 16th (if legal costs, banking fees, marketing fees, and other project services are listed in separate documents) leave an estimated total of $552,946 for influencers from June to September this year.
Netanyahu and his cohort have launched a massive campaign to gaslight the younger generation and whitewash the merciless war with Gaza. A few days ago, Responsible Respect reported that “Israel wants to train Chatgput to become more pro-Israel.”
Last week, the outlet also reported that “Israel will beat Tiktok.” A year ago, powerful critics in the world of Congress and technology complained that Tiktok had promoted an anti-Israel message and suggested that it needed to be shut down.
I realized there was no need to eliminate it. Tiktok is, after all, a multiplier of the Message Force, and it appears that the pro-Israel people need to own it. Like Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, the second wealthiest man in the world and the IDF’s biggest private donor.
