Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut in a call with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, stressing that Iran’s right to benefit from peaceful nuclear energy is unnegotiable, according to Mehr’s news agency.
Aragut explained to Fidan about the latest developments on indirect consultations between Iran and the United States, as well as the latest developments on meetings with Iran with three European countries involved in nuclear negotiations.
He emphasized that if the other side respects and respects Iran’s legitimate rights under the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), Tehran is ready to pursue an agreement that is favorable to both sides in exchange for lifting sanctions.
Turkish FM Hakan Fidan expressed his gratitude for Iran’s constructive diplomatic approach and affirmed Turkey’s preparations to support the progress of consultations.
