“The murder of 12,000 women in Gaza, the injury and arrests of thousands, and the displacement of hundreds of thousands are taints on humanity,” Hamas said in a statement on Saturday.
The Palestinian adducte of women said that they were “stricken with psychological and physical torture in serious violations of all international norms and practices.”
Hamas added that the suffering endured by these women exposed “double standards” in Western countries, including the United States, in their response to Palestinian adductees.
The statement said 12,316 women were killed due to the Israeli regime war of massacres in the besieged territory shortly after Salama Maarov, the head of the government media office in the Gaza Strip.
“Women’s Day coincides with the continued siege of Israel and the prevention of aid. Women live in catastrophic humanitarian conditions and suffer from hunger and thirst,” Maarouf said.
