Abbas Aragchi, Foreign Minister of Islamic Republic of Iran, currently visiting Abu Dhabi, held a meeting on Monday night with Sheikh Abdullah Zayed Al Nahyan, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates.
During the meeting, the two discussed the current situation of bilateral relations in various fields and exchanged views on regional development.
The parties emphasized the need for greater cooperation and coordination between Iran and the UAE to enhance regional security and stability.
Iran’s foreign minister has expressed deep regret and condemnation of the ongoing genocide and genocide of Palestinian Muslims in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as the Zionist regime’s attacks and terrorist acts on Lebanon, Syria and Yemen.
He said serious attention and action from the regional and Islamic countries was needed to counter the expansionism and ongoing lawlessness of the occupation regime.
The meeting also includes discussions ongoing indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, during which Araguchi described Emirati’s counterparts on the latest developments related to the consultation.
