In a letter sent to 44 state legislatures on Thursday, lawmakers pleaded the legislative committee of parliamentary law condemning illegal Israeli US aggression against the Islamic Republic last month and asked the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) to notify their decision.
They also urged these Congresses to place a legislative process on their agenda to take restrictive measures against criminal Zionist regimes.
“In the same way, the Law Commission is being asked to investigate Israeli crimes within the jurisdiction of its own legal authorities in order to prevent immunity from the Zionist regime and the US and to stop Israel’s warming worldwide.”
On June 13, Israel launched a blatant, unprovoked attack on Iran, killing at least 1,060 people, including a high-ranking military commander, nuclear scientist and ordinary civilians.
The United States also took part in the war on June 22nd, bombing three Iranian nuclear sites with serious violations of the UN Charter, international law and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
In response, Iranian forces targeted strategic sites across the occupying regions and Aldead Air Base in Qatar, the largest US military base in West Asia.
On June 24, Iran was able to stop the terrorist attacks through successful retaliation operations against both the Israeli regime and the United States.
