Iran’s Intelligence Minister Seyed Esmael Katib said at the commemoration of Martians Mehdi Rabbani and Gholamreza Mehrabi that the Zionist regime must now face an internal attack strategy. “As effective missiles in our army were forced to stop the war, all intelligence reporting agencies are also under pressure. Recently you saw that they must present justification plans to counter the infiltration of intelligence reporting into the Zionist regime.”
“Despite all the instigation, the enemy had planned to overthrow, or what they called the end of the Islamic Republic, but they witnessed full internal security of Iran during the 12-day war,” he added.
Regarding the issue of drones and Mavs, Khatib said, “These issues relate to military conditions and rely on air defense strategies. The country’s military and air defense forces will make every effort to counter them.”
The Zionist regime fought a war of aggression against Iran on June 13, attacking Iranian troops, nuclear power and residential areas for 12 days, but the US carried out a military attack on three nuclear sites in Iran, Natanz, Fordau and Isfahan on June 22.
Iranian troops carried out a powerful counterattack shortly after the attack. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Aerospace Force implemented 22 waves of retaliation missiles against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III, which caused significant losses to cities across the occupying territories.
In response to the US attack, Iranian forces fired waves of missiles at Aldead Air Force Base in Qatar, the largest US military base in West Asia.
The battle was stopped due to a ceasefire that came into effect on June 24th.
