President Pezeshkian praised Malaysia’s stance in the face of a recent Israeli invasion against Iran, adding that the Israeli regime had fought an unprovoked war with Iran in the midst of Iran and the US nuclear talks.
Pezeshkian noted that Iran considers all neighboring countries and regions as its friends and brothers, and is always pursuing it to deepen and strengthen friendly relations with these countries.
The US government advocated a ceasefire shortly after Iran’s critical and harsh reaction to the invasion, he said, adding that if the Crime Zionist regime does not violate the ceasefire, Iran would not violate it as well.
The Malaysian Prime Minister condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran and emphasized that his country would defend Iran’s right to respond to the invasion.
Ibrahim stressed that it is hoped that talks will resume as soon as possible to stabilize peace and security throughout the region.
