Speaking at Tehran’s dialogue forum on Sunday, Karaj said dialogue between Iran and the Arab countries and other neighbors would be more effective, saying, “International development requires these countries to come together and resolve controversial issues through dialogue.”
He said the fourth round of the Tehran Dialogue Forum also aims to achieve mutual understanding so that local issues can be resolved peacefully.
Referring to meaningful diplomacy, the former Foreign Minister said the atmosphere has become much more positive in recent years, indicating that consultations are effective in overcoming differences.
The head of the Strategic Council also tackled the deterioration of relations with Europe, saying, “Iran’s relations with Europe have unfortunately entered a frozen state.”
He said that Europe has great potential in the fields of finance, industry and technology, but given the “US and Israeli influence,” it is no longer an independent and influential bloc.
He stressed that the freeze in relations with Europe does not mean that Iran should not try to find new ways to improve ties.
Kharrazi pointed out that some countries continue to send arms to the Israeli regime under pressure, despite knowing that doing it on the ongoing massacre in Gaza would conspire with them.
