TEHRAN – Iran’s foreign ministry on Tuesday strongly condemned Israel’s new attacks on the Gaza Strip, describing it as “continuing genocide and ethnic cleansing” in the besieged territory, news outlets reported.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaille Bagaei made a statement in a statement hours after Israeli airstrikes in Gaza killed hundreds of Palestinians, including women and children.
He went on to say that the US is fully responsible for the murders in Gaza.
Baghaei also called on the international community to take responsibility for it and stop the Israeli regime’s war crimes in Gaza. Gaza is “introduced with full support from the US, UK and other Western countries.”
A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated that failure to address blatant violations of Israel’s international law would erode the norm’s legal system under the UN Charter, warning of the devastating consequences of such conditions for world peace and security.
Baghey also highlighted the Islamic world’s responsibility to prevent the continued genocide acts in occupied Palestine, urging Islamic Cooperation Organizations (OICs) to take decisive steps to promote the prosecution of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Israeli leaders, and to promote the prosecution of the International Courts (ICC) to prevent assistance in governing the International Courts (ICJs) in order to govern the International Courts (ICJs).
More than 400 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed on Tuesday after the occupying regime resumed the war on Gaza, undermining a vulnerable two-month ceasefire agreement with Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.
