Tehran – In past Iranian calendar years that ended on March 20th, Iran ranked third in the world for winning gold medals at the International Olympics.
“We won 12 gold medals last year, and we were able to rank third in the world,” Isna quoted Reza Joseni, head of the Young Researchers Club.
The first goal for the following year is to maintain one of the top three countries in the world and increase the number of gold medals to over 15, he added.
