TEHRAN – An Iranian university student and his wife marched early on Friday as a result of a deadly missile attack by the Zionist regime targeting residential areas in Iran.
Mehdi Akbari-Nasab, a senior student in electrical engineering at the Iranian University of Science and Technology, martial artist with his wife on a missile strike committed by the Israeli regime on June 13th.
Akbari-Nasab was admitted to the university in 2020 and was in the final stages of completing his undergraduate course.
The attack, part of a wider wave of Israeli missile strikes, targets multiple Iranian cities, leaving many civilians, including women, children and students, to be bored or seriously injured. Iranian authorities have denounced the aggression, calling it a blatant act of terrorism and a violation of international law.
This latest act of violence has strengthened public mourning and calls for accountability. Images of the young couple circulating on Iranian social media have spurred the pouring of sympathy and new demands over international condemnation of military action across Israeli borders.
