TEHRAN – Brigadier General Alireza Sabahifad, commander of the Qatam Al-Ambya Air Defense Base, announced within the past hour that 10 hostile aircraft belonging to the Zionist regime had been shot down in various parts of the country.
In a critical development, Iranian air defense system via Tehran successfully intercepted and defeated Israeli drones targeting the capital, highlighting the growing alert state of Iran.
Iran’s integrated air defense network is actively involved in hostile threats across several states. Reports from Tasnim News Agency confirm the continued air defense operations targeting enemy drones in Hormozgan, Karmanshah, Western Azerbaijan, Laurestan, Tehran and Kzestan provinces.
On Saturday, Iranian forces detected and neutralised numerous enemy drones in the western regions of the country and in QOM provinces, demonstrating continued vigilance and ability to respond quickly.
