TEHRAN – Iranian President Masudo Pezeshkian issued a harsh warning to Israel, saying even more powerful responses from Iranian troops would make the attack even stronger.
In a call with Pakistan Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif on Saturday, he denounced the recent Israeli attacks on Iranian territory and pointed to the accomplices of the US and its allies in these violent crimes.
“The Zionist regime has received full support from the US and Western countries and continues to blatantly violate international law,” Pezeschkian said. “Those who claim to support human rights will not only be silent in the face of Israeli attacks, but will also be actively armed and supported, allowing for further atrocities.”
The president highlighted Iran’s defensive power in the face of the attack, noting that it successfully defeated some of Israel’s advanced military equipment. “This so-called immortal stealth technique was overthrown by the decisions and capabilities of the Islamic Republic,” he said.
On Friday, June 13, Israel launched a massive military attack on Iran’s Islamic Republic, raising serious concerns over a serious escalation of regional tensions and violations of international law amid ongoing conflict in Gaza.
After the strike, Iran began an anti-aggressive plan and launched missiles into the occupying territories. Earlier on Saturday, the IRGC said the Aerospace Division was launching waves of ballistic missiles and the IRGC was involved in the Aerospace Division deploying armed drones against “strategic” Israeli targets, and the response was codenamed.
“The nature of Israel linked to crime and bloodshed,” Turkish President tells Pezeshkian
In another call on Saturday, Turkish President Recept Tayyip Erdogan spoke with President Pezeshkian and condemned Israel’s attack on Iran as a “blatant violation of all international norms.”
He reiterated that the actions of the Zionist regime reflect an unrestrained pattern of international law and violence and attack. “The nature of this administration is linked to crime and bloodshed,” Erdogan said.
Qatar, Iran, has pledged to strengthen cooperation
Qatar Emil Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani also called President Pezeshkian on Saturday.
The two leaders discussed the latest regional and international developments, focusing on Israeli attacks and impacts on regional security. They also reviewed bilateral relations and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation across political and economic spheres.
