Tehran – Zoroastrians in Iran strongly condemn the Zionist regime’s terrorist acts that violate all human, religious and international principles, said the Zoroastrian monk K of Yazd Province.
Regarding this “evil regime” air attack, Rostam Kaboshianzadeh added:
“Zoroastrians are a religion of truth, peace and moderation, but silence is not permitted in the face of oppression and attack. Zoroastrian teachings teach us to stand up to lies, oppression and destruction. Today, the Iranian state responds to attacks of wisdom and strength, making us realize that our enemy is not Iran’s national security.”
Pointing to Iran’s retaliation operations against the Zionist attack, he said Iran’s Islamic Republic is a legitimate right to protect its response to them.
“It was also an obvious message that the era of free strikes against the Iranian state’s enemy is over. This action was taken away not from blind revenge, but to maintain and support deterrence and national security.”
Regarding the role of religious minorities in national affairs, he said that Iranian Zoroastrians are defending the country along with fellow Muslims, Christians, Jews and other ethnic groups.
“Today, we are all in one line. Iran’s security, independence and dignity belong to all Iranians. We have a common attitude towards any threat to these principles.”
He expressed his hopes for sustainable peace in the region, adding that the Zionist regime is trying to create war and discord in the region with its actions. “But I pray that the Iranian state depends not only on its inner unity and faith in its path, but not only surrender, but also responds with authority and wisdom, but also that the world achieves true peace, but up until then, legitimate defense is the right of all nations, and we pray that we stand by the Iranian state and the army.”
