The governor of Tehran Kzestan has announced that the Sharanche border crossing is fully prepared to handle the daily return of around 15,000 Iranian Hajj Pilgrims from the provinces of Fars, Buscher, Hormozgan, Chaharmahal and Bhaktiari.
These pilgrims are expected to begin re-entering Iran through Sharanche from the end of this week after visiting Iraq’s Holy Shrine.
The governor emphasized that all the arrangements needed to ensure an orderly and smooth flow of pilgrims have been made. Full coordination has been achieved in all agencies stationed at the border, with comprehensive plans in place for accommodation, feeding and transport of pilgrims within Huzestan. These measures aim to encourage pilgrims to return to their home cities.
