Tehran – An extraordinary session by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in relation to Israel’s strike on Iran will be held on June 16th at the request of Russia.
“At the request of the Russian Federation, an extraordinary session of the IAEA Committee will be held on Monday (June 16) to discuss Israel’s attacks on Iran,” he wrote in Telegram.
Previously, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported that the council will hold a special session on June 16th at the IAEA headquarters in Vienna to consider the “technical aspects and consequences” of Israeli attacks on Israeli nuclear facilities.
Similarly, Reuters reported that the request for the special session is not a member of the council, but cited the diplomats saying that the Iranian appeal came from Iran, supported by several council members.
Early on Friday morning, several major explosions were heard in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Minutes later, the Israeli regime announced it had carried out a military operation against Iran.
Amid a fierce offensive, the Crime Zionist regime has revealed its true nature more than ever by committing a heinous crime in Iranian soil and targeting residential areas with bloody hands.
The enemy attacks resulted in several Iranian commanders, scientists and civilians being marched.
