TEHRAN – By issuing a joint statement, the foreign ministry of 21 Arab and Muslim countries has condemned Israel’s strike against Iran and urged the Zionist regime to refrain from targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities and alleviating tensions in the region.

The statement emphasizes that only diplomacy can provide a path from conflict, adding that military action cannot resolve the current crisis.
Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of respecting freedom of voyage in international waterways in accordance with relevant international laws, and does not pose a threat to the safety of international voyages.

The Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also rejected “an escalation of ongoing violence in the Middle East” and has expressed deep concern. The Mexican government also suggested refraining from actions that could put civilian lives at risk.
In response to the Israeli attack, Brazil’s government firmly condemned Israel’s actions and expressed concern over Israeli airstrikes on Friday morning, announcing it as a clear violation of Iran’s sovereignty and international law.
Brazil urged both countries to exercise restraint and avoid military conflict. The Brazilian Workers’ Party (PT) has also condemned Israeli attacks on Iran.
In a statement, the Chilean Communist Party condemned Israeli attacks on Iran and expressed deep concern about targeting Iran’s housing construction and civilian nuclear infrastructure, which is a violation of international law.
“Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is trying to drag our region and the whole world into disaster with reckless, aggressive and lawless actions,” Turkish President Recept Tayp Erdogan said on Friday. Erdogan also called on the international community to end the conflict.
