Tehran – The head of the counterterrorism division of the Iranian police, known as Faraja, said that the success in overcoming adversity, crisis and war is linked to strong and wise resilience.
Referring to mental resilience and stress management during crisis and wartime, Brigadier General Said Montazel al-Mahadi writes that deep stories of resistance are told in the rich culture of Iran, particularly in the poems and poems of Shakhname and Sadi of Feldousi. Reading them can be exciting and soothing these days, Mehr’s news agency writes.
He recommends being aware of announcements, orders and warnings from local government rescue agencies rather than allowing relationships with family and friends, and is prioritized to learn skills such as first aid, self-defense, and rescue methods.
He also asked people to adapt to their conditions, maintain peace and calm themselves.
The situation is important, but he said that wise and patient citizens should not increase tolerance and spread stress and concern to others.
Getting enough sleep can help prevent panic attacks and restlessness, he pointed out.
He added that it is effective to keep children away from the crisis and distract them through individuals and groups.
He warned citizens not to fall into the trap of opportunistic, traitorous individuals who seek the profits of trying to streamline the selling of their homeland with some irrational justifications.
The news announced by the enemy is often intended to weaken the morale of the other side, so let’s not unintentionally fuel the rumors by publishing it widely and expressing it, he added.
History and experience show that the brave and strong people of this land do not give up or rest in the face of foreign invasions, he said. “We will safely pass through this important and dangerous period,” he added.
A Faraja spokesman also announced that Faraja is ready to provide free counseling services to citizens across the country.
According to Isna, Brigadi General Montazel al Mahdi said in this regard: Police are ready to provide free psychological treatment services to citizens of counselling and support centers across the country, with hundreds of counselors and psychologists at their disposal.
He mentioned the counselling and psychology centres and support departments of police stations, adding that they can benefit from the specialized treatment services of these centres, improving their mental health and that of their children, and preventing them from suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder caused by their war with the Zionist regime.
