Tehran – A lesser-known figure in Iran’s nuclear industry, Sei was assassinated in Issar Tabatabae Gomshe and his wife, Mansore Haji Salem, at their residence last weekend.
The Sharif University newspaper reported the death of Dr. Tabatabaye, a graduate and longtime contributor to Iran’s nuclear program.
Dr. Tabatabae enrolled at Sharif University in 2004 as a master’s student in mechanical engineering and later enrolled in a doctorate at the university. Nuclear Engineering Programme in 2007. He was known within the science circle for his important contribution to the advancement of Iran’s peaceful nuclear capabilities, but his role remained largely out of the public eye.
Dr. Tabatabae’s assassination will be added to the growth list of Iranian scientists who have been targeted and martyred in recent weeks following the Israeli attack in Iran on June 13th.
