Tehran – Thousands of Iranians in the cities of Mashhad, Tabriz, Aldabil, QOM, Ahvaz, Gorgan and Tehran attended funerals for individuals who had taught martyrs during Israel’s 12-day war with Iran.
Funerals belonged to civilians as well as members of the country’s military, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Army (Artes).
Around 60 senior officials and their families will also be awarded at a massive funeral in Tehran on Saturday. At least 627 Iranians were killed between June 13th and June 24th during the Zionist attacks. The administration targeted housing, military sites, local businesses and nuclear facilities across Iran. Iran responded by firing a relentless barrage of missiles on occupied territory and destroying dozens of Israeli targets through the war.
