Tehran – Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Revolution, attended an ashraneite ritual at Imam Khomeini Husseniey in Tehran.
The mourning ceremony was attended by a large gathering of people from various professions, including the Speaker of the Congress, the Attorney General and the First Vice President.
The theme of resistance to oppression following the 12-day Israeli attack on Iran was addressed in the remarks of Hojatres Ram Masoud Ali, who addressed the incident. The leader did not speak to the ceremony, but attendees said he whispered to the famous eulogist Mahmoud Karimi.
