TEHRAN – Between June 13 and the next 12 days, Israel and the US carried out airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities and the country’s civil and military infrastructure.
The goal was to prevent the development of nuclear weapons, a longtime signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), whose facility was then under the strictest supervision of the IAEA.
The joint US-Israel attack led to more than 900 Iranian civilians, military officials and nuclear scientists martial arts. The Iran-Israel war was stopped on June 24th after Tehran agreed to Washington and Tel Aviv’s proposals.
Below is a chronology of major events that unfolded during the “12 Days of War.”
June 13th

Israel will begin the war early on June 13th and will begin a strike against Tehran’s home construction with support from all-US. The Iranian military commander and scientists are martyrs including Iranian military chief of staff Mohammad Hossein Bagyeri, Major General Hossein Salami of the IRGC Aerospace Division, Commander of General Amir Ali Hajizadeh and Chief Commander of Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of the central Qatam al Ambier. Iranian nuclear facilities such as Ford, Natanz and Esfahan have also been struck. Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Revolution, says that the Israeli regime has sealed its fate for itself “bitter and painful.” The leader, on separate orders, appoints a new commander to replace those assassinated. Iran retaliated on the night of June 13th, and its forces launched the first wave, which became a 22 wave operation called True Promise III.
June 14th

Marking Eid al-Ghadir, millions of Iranians have taken them to the city and attended anti-Israel demonstrations across the country. In Tehran, a 10-kilometer demonstration stretches from Imam Hossein to Azadi square. Oman Foreign Minister Sayyid Bador bin Hamad bin Hamoud Albusadi has announced the cancellation of the sixth round of Iran-US nuclear talks scheduled for June 14-15. June 15th

Iranian missiles have collided with the Wiseman Science Institute, causing significant damage to multiple labs on campus. No one will be killed. IRGC Intelligence Chief Mohammad Kazemi and his deputy Hassan Mohakik are marching on the Israeli strike in Tehran. The Israeli missiles collided with a building at Tehran’s foreign ministry, a military base in Isfahan, and an air refueling aircraft at Mashad Airport. Iran will launch a daytime barrage against Israel for the first time. Reports say at least 15 people were injured during strikes in the port cities of Haifa and Bhat Yam. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragci said Iran is not trying to expand the conflict, adding that there is “solid evidence” of US support for Israeli attacks. June 16th
Israel attacks Ilib, Iran’s national television network for blatant violations of international law. One anchor named Sahar Emami is alive when an Israeli bomb hits the “glass building” in Ilib. Israel’s largest oil refinery has announced the closure of all facilities at Haifa Port due to damage caused by Iran’s missile strike.
June 17th
Trump posts on social media, urging Iran to “unconditional surrender.” The IRGC will strike at major Israeli intelligence news sites in Tel Aviv, including the headquarters of Amman and Mossad.
June 18th

Iranian troops confirm the martial teaching of Major General Ali Shadmani, the new commander of Qatam al-Ambiya. Ayatollah Khamenei warns that direct military intervention by the United States will cause “irreparable harm” to Washington.
June 19th
Israel is struggling with new Iranian sites, including Arak’s heavy water production plant. The 20-30 Iranian missiles target Israeli central cities, including Tel Aviv, Ramatgan, Horon and Bercheva. Israel claims that Soroka Hospital, located in a city in southern Bercheva, has been hit by an Iranian airstrike. The Soroka Hospital is located near two major Israeli forces, the IDF’s main intelligence news headquarters and the central headquarters. Iran emphasizes that the hospital itself is not the intended target, but rather the damage from a nearby explosion, claims later confirmed by analysts. A White House spokesman says he will decide whether Trump will take part in the Iran-Israel war “in the next two weeks.”
June 20th
The IRGC’s 17th missile wave hits military bases in Nevatim and Hatzerim. The air defense system is being revitalized in Buchelle, southern Iran, the only operating nuclear power plant in the country. Qatar’s Prime Minister told top Norway diplomats that Israel, which targets Iran’s economic facilities, could lead to devastating regional and international impacts. Aragucci meets with foreign ministers of the UK, Germany and France, as well as the EU diplomatic leaders in Geneva. During talks, he has expressed “significant concern” over Europe’s failure to condemn Israel’s attacks on Iran.
June 21st
Araghchi arrives in Istanbul for an OIC meeting. The organisation has condemned Israeli attacks on Iran in its joint statement of conclusions. Israel attacked nuclear sites other than Isfahan, causing the death of a 16-year-old boy who was staying in a nearby residential building. The Israeli strike in QOM city said it was assassinating Mohammed. ISADI said it is a senior official in the IRGC Quds squad.
June 22nd

United’s Sates joins Israel’s war with Iran directly, attacking three nuclear sites in the countries of Esfahan, Natanz and Fordau with B-2 stealth bombers and cruise missiles. US media has questioned the actual extent of the lasting damage hours after the attack took place. The IAEA calls strikes a “wild violation” of international law, but does not report radiation leaks.
June 23rd
An Iranian judicial spokesman says more than 70 people have been killed in the attack Tehran prison, which Israel praised as “symbolic.” Araguchi meets Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin. The IRGC is attacking the most important US base in West Asia, the AlUDade Air Force Base in Qatar, in response to a previous strike over Washington’s nuclear facility. Thirteen missiles were fired, six achieving their targets. No casualties have been reported given Iran to the Americans 12 hours before the attack. Around midnight, Trump took me to social media to agree that Iran and Israel would stop fighting
June 24th

Iran has rained down the last barrage of missiles in the occupied territories, with Israeli media explaining the waves as the heaviest of the war. Iranian President Masuud Pezeshkian has announced that the 12-day war has been suspended. Aragut says Iran has not agreed to a ceasefire, but rather agrees that if Israel does so, it will halt the attack. Trump says he must hold a ceasefire, says that one of Israel’s last attacks on Iranian parliament will move towards drafting a law that will suspend cooperation with IAEA Trump.
June 25th
The Iranian parliament has approved a bill that suspends cooperation with the IAEA, calling the UN Nuclear Watch Agency’s final report on Iran, a “political motivation” report that paved the way for the attack on Israeli US. In a social media post, Trump says China can buy Iranian oil. Analysts believe China is trying to continue purchasing Iranian oil regardless of it. Iran’s Minister of Defense Brigadier Aziz Nasirzadeh will visit China for the two-day SCO summit.
June 26th
In his first statement since the end of the war, Ayatollah Khamenei congratulates him on his victory over the invaders. He added that Iran will not tell CBS that the country will continue to pursue a peaceful nuclear programme, Fatem Mohajelani.
June 27th
Trump says he will “absolutely” consider bombing Iran again. The president has also denounced in the US media claiming his attacks on Iran are not as successful as he portrays.
June 28th
Over one million citizens will be taking part in the funerals held in Tehran. Sixty individuals killed by Israel, including military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians, are respected during the major funeral. Leader’s advisor, Ali Shamhani, takes his first public figure after becoming a target for Israel. He says in a subsequent interview he will continue his efforts for Iran and its people.
June 29th
Imam Khomeini International Airport welcomed its first foreign flight since the outbreak of the war as a Friedubai flight from lands in the United Arab Emirates, the IRNA reports.
July 5th
Ayatollah Khamenei will attend an open ceremony marking the martial teaching of Imam Hussein (AS) in Imam Khomeini Hussainya, Tehran. Western and Israeli media claimed that the leader was “hiding.” Iran will resume international flights after a 20-day break
