TEHRAN – Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bakar Karibah said on Sunday that the Israeli regime is seeking revenge from the recent defeat in the 12-day war by launching economic and psychological assaults on Iranian state.
During an open session in Congress, Kalibahu highlighted that the enemy is bolstering efforts to undermine Iran through economic pressure and psychological warfare, targeting more resilient and oppressed Iranian people than ever before.
During the war of June 13-25, marking the 40th day of martialism, prominent Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians, the Speaker of the Congress expressed his deepest sadness.
He condemned the continuing patterns of assassinations in the Israeli regime, describing it as a hallmark of “Zionist criminal gangs” that indiscriminately target military personnel, civilians, seniors, children, men and women.
Karibah further denounced the Israeli regime as illegal descendants of the West, lamented the ongoing tragedy in Gaza, and urged the regime to immediately halt the destructive actions before the situation escalates regionally and globally.
Emphasizing the role of Iran’s economic and business sector in the current context, he called on these groups to take this opportunity to stand up and fulfill their responsibility to defend the national interests.
In response to recent terrorist attacks by extremists linked to the Yash al-Zulum group in Zahedan, southeastern Iran, Karibah has condemned ruthless attacks on innocent civilians, including women and children.
He described the incident as an act of retaliation against Iran’s unified resistance to foreign attacks by Zionists and US forces, particularly those.
The Parliamentary Speaker assured that Iranian security forces remain vigilant and continue to confront and neutralize the terrorist elements that are causing such attacks.
Saturday’s attack in Zahedan caused at least six deaths and 22 injuries, leaving three assailants dead during a clash with security guards.
Sistan and Balchestan, bordering Pakistan, are a sustained target of terrorist activity organized by groups associated with unstable foreign intelligence agency in the southeastern and southwest regions of Iran.
